אני פותח את פינת הקולנוע של הבלוג,בסרט שראיתי בסוף שבוע האחרון.
מדובר בRoyal Flash משנת 75 ,העיבוד היחיד עד כה (מלבד תסכית רדיו) לספר מסדרת Flashman של ג'ורג' מקדונלד פרייזר.
לצערי אני עוד טרם קראתי ספרים בסדרה,מתישהו אני אגיע עליהם אולי,יש 12 ספרים שנכתבו משנת 69 ועוד מותו של המחבר,Royal Flash הוא הספר השני בסדרה.
בקצרה מדובר בספרים על גבול התקופה הויקטוריאנית,אשר עוסקים בהארי פלאשמן,אנטי גיבור ופחדן סדרתי,אשר בעיקר הודות למזל ונסיבות הזיות,מוצא עצמו תמיד כגיבור הפרשה.
פלאשמן הוא דמות המופיעה בספר "ימי בית הספר של טום בראון".בספרים של תום בראון,הארי פלאשמן הוא בריון ודושבג אשר מהווה את יריבו העיקרי של תום,מקדונלד פרייזר לקח את הדמות ומספר את הביאוגרפיה הדמיונית שלה,השזורה באישים מפורסמים בהיסטוריה.בערך בויקיפדיה יש פירוט על הדמיות ההיסטוריות השונות שמופיעות בספרים,מקדונלד פרייזר עצמו הוסיף נספחים וביאורים עוד במהדורות הראשונות של הספרים,המוסיפים להם עומק וידע היסטורי.
הארי פאלשמן הוא הטיפוס הכי שלילי שאתם יכולים לדמיין הוא קולני,דוחה,גזעני,רודף כבוד אשר לא מגיע לו וגונב קריטידים,הוא מבלה את זמנו בהימורים ואצל זונות,מתחיל עם כל דבר בשמלה,חומק בשפלות מכל דו קרב ומסכסך בין אנשים לשם רווח כספי.הוא מייצג את הבריטי המכוער,הקולוניאליסט והאופרטוניסט החושב שהכל מגיע לו מפני שנולד בריטי,יריבו לעומת זאת הם יותר שפלים ומגעילים ממנו ולא פעם הוא זוכה להערכה מצדם בגלל אופיו הקלוקל.
בסרט משחק את הארי מלקולם מקדואל,ונראה כאילו שהוא נולד לשחק את התפקיד,הנפיחות והיוהרה שבאים למקדואל בטבעיות מוסיפים לאיכות המשחק שלו כהארי פלאשמן.הסרט עצמו טוב מאוד,בניגוד לכמה סרטים מהתקופה הזו על התקופה הויקטוריאנית שראיתי ("שוד הרכבות הגדול" שביים מייקל קרייטון ומידי פעם מבצבץ בMGM ו"המשרד לרציחות" סרט משמים מלבד הקטע האחרון שלו שכולל מלחמה בתוך צפלין מעופף ורוג'ר דלגדו) בסרט הזה אין נקודות משעממות,הוא פשוט אקשן נון סטופ,עם דגש על הרבה הומור ייחודי לתקופה הויקטוריאנית.הסיבה נועצה בוודאי שהבמאי שלו הוא ריצ'ארד לסטר ,במאי ענק שהטביע את חותמו על הקולנוע העולמי עוד בשנות השישים,פרייזר ולסטר עבדו ביחד על שלושת סרטי המוסקטרים ,שבעיני לפחות שני הסרטים הראשונים הם סרטים טובים מאוד.
לסטר הפסיק לעבוד אחרי סרט המוסקטרים האחרון (שלא היה כל כך מוצלח) בגלל מותו השחקן רוי קינר במהלך הצילומים,גורג' מקדונלד פרייזר נפטר ב2008 ,הסרט הזה מומלץ כשיתוף פעולה מוצלח בין שני האנשים המצוינים הללו.
לעלילה שלו בקצרה,הארי פלאשמן לאחר שהוכתר כגיבור מלחמה (שלא בצדק) מסתבך עם דמותה ההיסטורית של לולה מונטאז ,"אשת חברה" מפורסמת וטיפוס בעייתי .הארי מקבל הזמנה להגיע אליה לפרוסיה של אז ומוצא עצמו מעורב באחת ממזימותיו של אוטו פון ביסמארק ,הרוצה לאחד את גרמניה.פלאשמן נזקק לכל כישוריו המיוחדים ובינהם חוסר מצפונו בכדי להציל את עורו הפעם.
הרבה בדיחות ויזאליות,הרבה צילומים מרהיבים והמון השקעה בפרטים הקטנים.
בסך הכל סרט חביב ומומלץ,בעיקר עם יש לכם טלביזיה גדולה ודלי של פופקורן.
